Challenge:
For a novice user of Photoshop, it is important to know the right tool to modify photos or create artwork. Knowing the tools in Photoshop and when to use them can save novices from frustration, allowing them more time to focus on their craft.
Solution:
The solution for this eLearning course was to give learners an overview of the clone stamp tool and a step-by-step guide on how to use it. The course starts with a general overview of the clone stamp tool, a comparison to a similar tool in Photoshop and then a step-by-step video on how to use the tool to remove imperfections in a photo.
Results:
The goal of this eLearning course is to familiarize the learner with the clone stamp tool and best practices on when and how to use it. Learners are encouraged to practice on their own photo (or use the sample photo) to remove imperfections of varying complexity. Learners can post before and after results to show off their newly developed skills. The feed at the end of the course is also used to provide feedback.
